
Frank Buchanan II
Lead Pastor
Pastor Frank was born and raised in the Joplin and Webb City area. He earned a B.A. Degree in Accounting from Missouri Southern State College and is a Certified Public Accountant. He has considerable experience in the public accounting, banking, and logistics industries as well as several non-profit entities. In addition to his secular work experience, he has been laboring in the ministry for most of his adult life, serving the local church, the section, and the district. He has always been an avid student of the Bible, earning a M. A. Degree in Christian Ministry from Urshan School of Theology. He is passionate about growing a thriving apostolic church in the Joplin community. In his free time, Pastor Frank enjoys attending auctions, golfing, and sneaking treats to the family bulldog, Ernie. He is happily married to Angie and is the proud father of Franklin and Ashley.

Frank Buchanan
Bishop
Frank Buchanan currently serves as the Bishop of Joplin Peace. He founded the church and pastored for 25 years. He married his wife, Eulah, in 1962. They enjoy spending time with their two children, four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. They continue to serve God in many ways every day. Fun fact: Bishop preached his first revival at the age of 16.

Sherry McDugle
Minister
Sherry McDugle was born and raised in the Joplin area. She earned her degree in Surgical Technology from NEO A&M College in Miami, OK, and has worked in the medical field for over 20 years. She is a licensed minister who serves in several capacities at Joplin Peace alongside her husband, James. Her hobbies include spending time with her grandchildren and horseback riding.

Franklin Buchanan III
Assistant Pastor
Franklin was born and raised in Joplin, Missouri, graduating from College Heights Christian School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Missouri Southern State University in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. Franklin graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2022. He is licensed to practice law in the states of Missouri and Kansas. He works as an attorney at Buchanan, Williams, O'Brien, P. C., focusing on personal injury and family law. In addition to his secular career, Franklin has served at Joplin Peace his entire life, including worship leading, teaching, preaching, and much more.
